As a vital connection between Pāpāmoa and Tauranga/Mount Maunganui, the street will see several improvements, including new level pedestrian crossings, road widening, a shared path for pedestrians and cyclists, and improved bus stops, shelters, and street lighting. While we work on these upgrades, please expect some temporary traffic disruptions.
Work is expected to begin in November 2024 and should be completed by the end of January 2025, weather dependent.
