We have upgraded Pāpāmoa Beach Road, between Domain Road and Parton Road, to make crossing the road safer. We have completed most of the work but are delayed with some of it and will get back to this work soon.
Why are we doing it?
Safety upgrades on Pāpāmoa Beach Road between Domain Road and Parton Road will make crossing the road safer.
What are we doing?
We are improving four areas, all with a path that links to the new coastal shared path:
- Allan Place: new pedestrian refuge island and shoulder widening on coastal roadside
- Douglas Place: pedestrian refuge island and shoulder widening on coastal roadside
- Alexander Place: new pedestrian crossing to cross Pāpāmoa Beach Road
- Grant Place: new pedestrian refuge island and road widening to include a right-hand turning lane.
